Saturday Fun!

I'm so excited! Ashlyn and I get to see Daddy soon! He gets a 36 hour pass over the Labor Day weekend and we are going to spend it with him! Daddy hasn't been able to see Ashlyn walk yet. 12 days!!!!

Our morning ritual. Yesterday morning was her birthday walk :)

Her very first birthday cake with lots of extra icing for her to make a mess of.

She wasn't so sure about the cake at first.

Then she realized mommy wasn't going to stop her from making a mess.

She tried a little of the buttercream. Didn't like it to much.

There was a little puddle that she found as I was putting a letter in the mailbox. I turned around, and splish splash.

 Her onsie was soaked and her diaper was so gross.

 So it was time for a real bath!

She loves being just like mommy and loves to carry mom's purse. But I have to leave everything in it. If I take anything out, she'll drop it, sit down and pout.

 This is how much she loves chocolate ice cream. She kept going for my cone.
