and it begins...
Well nothing new at all yet...except I think I'm getting a bump!!! ALREADY!!! Time for bump pictures....yikes. I was hoping I wouldn't show until 16 weeks but oh well. Everything is moving right along I guess. I had a little bout with morning sickness yesterday morning....oh sooo not fun. I about started crying. I hate puking like no other. I'm going to try a trick I've heard about...eating a small piece of jerky right before bed. But so far it's just been in the morning. My energy levels are all over the place just like my mood swings. One minute I am bouncing through the roof and all giggles and happy, the next I'm about to fall asleep where I'm standing and even the wind makes me cry. They aren't kidding when they say you're an emotional rollercoaster. I think it's about nap time for the next 5 hours.

Still feeling "normal"

So I took my first prenatals yesterday. Before that is was just your average daily vitamin...I'm nervous I'm going to get really sick but I want a healthy baby so if that means puking my guts out, bring it on! What supplements did everyone take? Is there something better or has anyone found anything that doesn't make them so sick? My mom took kelated prenatals and she said that her yucky feelings almost stopped when she started taking those. I'm just so scared of doing something wrong. But I'm almost at 6 weeks and still feel somewhat normal. Except I have to go shopping for...some certain somethings...girls you know what I mean!
Enoch and I looked at baby names for hours last night. We found some...strange ones haha . I love Brayden, Traygen, Bryson, and Jayden. Enoch hates the first 2...his fave right now I think is Brock. For girls, I'm thinking Ashlynn Michelle Bowler or Madison or Chloe. We're trying to pick names that won't set our baby up for being picked on later.

First Dr. Visit
I had my first pre-natal visit with one of my Dr's midwives a couple days ago to have some of my questions answered and stuff. I kept her busy for more than an hour! I had so many questions about food, nutrition, working out, lotions, chemicals and cleaning the house, morning sickness and tons more. I'm officially 5 weeks along :) When I asked her about morning sickness and when most girls get it she said between 4-6 weeks. Since I don't feel any sort of nausea at all, she said I might luck out and not have all those problems. I just have to last another week and I think I'm in the clear. That would be so great! No puking at all hours of the night and day...I got a pregnancy book and a little booklet showing pictures of the developing baby. Our first ultrasound to hear the heartbeat is Jan 7. We're so excited!! I suppose Dr. Meredith is going to check growth and try to determine when we will be able to find out if it's a boy or girl. I got a flu shot too. Don't want to be getting the flu! It looks like things are good as far as birth defects are concerend. We don't have any history of any sort on either side and there haven't been many miscarriages. I'm still nervous about a miscarriage but I'm just going to do my best to stay healthy and keep my stress levels to a minimum. My mother in law had a couple so I was told it's possible that it could happen but since my mother's side of the family has hardly any, I should be in the clear but I should still be very careful about stressful situations and keeping my body as calm and close to normal as possible. HA! Normal? While pregnant??? REALLY???

We're Pregnant!!

So after feeling a bit off for a week and then some and complaining to Enoch about a few things, we decided I should take a pregnancy test. 1st one was positive...so a few tests later and all saying positive, Enoch and I proudly announce WE'RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!! After a year I finally have a little poppy seed growing in my belly. We are so ecstatic!! Looks like the due date will be late Aug/ early Sept. My first doctors visit is to a prenatal specialist on Wednesday. And then after that, the quintessential 8 week visit. I'm so nervous! Enoch is totally chill but I'm freaking out! I don't want to do anything wrong!! But we are really excited and just want to share this with everyone! Will we keep plenty of updates don't worry.

Thanksgiving Weekend
Thanksgiving this year was pretty much like last year...Dinner at the in laws, bowling afterwards. But my lil sis was able to come up from Provo to hang out with us for a few days. We had a blast! I missed her so much and it was so good to see her. She got here Wed night and we went to Gringo's and just chilled. The next day, we all went shooting and Enoch was such a big bro with her. It was really cute. He's going to make such a good dad! We went to dinner after that and stuffed ourselves with such good food, 2 turkeys, 2 kinds of stuffing, snickers salad, jello!! loaded sweet potatos, turkey walnut salad, fresh rolls, apple, pumpkin and cherry cheesecake pies....oh it was so so good. Friday we took advantage of Black Friday sales. It was great. Some new shirts and boots for me and my sis now has a good winter wardrobe since she didn't really have any long sleeved shirts. We had a blast. We came home and went with Enoch's brothers wife to see Quantum of Solace. Not too bad.
My sister with a pistol was kinda scary. She finally hit a bowling pin from 30 yds and started jumping around and waving the pistol around. I about hit the deck. Enoch was about to tackle her...she gets a bit too distracted when shooting, not such a good thing. Can't forget you're holding a loaded gun and your finger is still on the trigger...it was a bit of an adrenaline rush but not in a good way. Kenna lou I love you but be careful darlin.
Friday night we decorated our tree and I gotta say I think we did a pretty good job. Decided to go with silver for the theme this year. Yay Walmart! I miss my sis. She left this morning but it was so good to spend time with family. It's nice to have her so close. My poor parents are going through empty next syndrome and it's killing my poor mom. Enoch's parents are like, everyone just graduate and get married. Now it's a race to see who gets pregnant first.

Happy Birthday Enoch! 25!
Enoch turned the big 2-5 today. As he would say he's halfway to 30. We just did something simple tonight. I arranged a little dinner at Gringo's for his close friends and his family. It was really nice all of us being able to sit and talk and just have fun. I'll never be able to come close to what Enoch did for my birthday. I forgot my camera too so I didn't get any pictures! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ENOCH!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!
Also my lil sis turned 18 today. Kinda cool they have the same birthday. But HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIL SIS!!!! Quit getting so grown up! Love you!

What happens to things when they break
So a couple of nights ago, our DVD player broke. Made some sort of strange sound. No big deal. We found a cheap one at Walmart. The broken one, however, met it's fate....target practice. Well there was 2 of them that we needed to get rid of. Here's the aftermath of 200 rounds. This is what we do in Idaho...
Here's our attempt at Rambo poses. Enoch looks great. I was attmpting to talk in my picture and was captured thusly.

Happy Birthday to me!
So I haven't posted in a bit because Enoch and I were in fabulous Las Vegas!!! It was a total surprise! He gave me hints the week before my birthday. He only said that I might have Tuesday off work. Sunday night we had my birthday dinner at my in laws and on the way home Enoch told me I didn't have to work Monday. He worked everything out with my boss at work without me knowing anything. I knew something was up on the Friday before my birthday because the girls at work said I better leave a list of computer passwords and when my boss told me to go do something else while he talked to the girls...I was totally stumped but I knew Enoch was up to something. So Monday morning we slept in and he was like, you better get in the shower and get yourself ready to do some shopping. I was in the middle of getting ready and he peeks in the door and says I need to pack for 5 days. Of course then I was telling him he better tell me what's going on...that's when he said " WE'RE GOING TO LAS VEGAS!!!!" I started screaming and jumping up and down and going crazy. I've never been and I was hinting to him that we needed to plan a trip next year. He'd been saving up since May for this trip without me knowing at all. He had a trial timeshare that he got and decided to use it for my birthday which was totally perfect.Monday night we got on the plane to head to Vegas and I was bouncing off the walls the whole time. I was in awe at all the lights when we were landing. Getting to the condo was another issue. He didn't really think about a rental car so we are trying to get one at the airport at 9 at night. $450 for 4 1/2 days!!!! I was like forget that crap...So we get some shuttle thing to the WorldMark place and have to wait on there for another 45 min. Great start to our vaca..we're tired and sitting next some guy who couldn't keep his eyes off my rack...it was fun...We finally get to the condo at 11 and we are wiped out. The room was amazing!!!!
Bigger than our apartment. Full kitchen, dining room, 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 3 pools, a lazy river, a hot tub with a waterfall, a huge balcony. Well worth the wait and it was only a little ways down the Strip.
My birthday on Tuesday was amazing. At midnight early Tuesday morning Enoch surprised me with ANOTHER gift. He took the pearls we dug out of the oysters in Hawaii and got them set into a diamond and white gold necklace and earrings. They are beautiful! They are the most beautiful pieces of jewelry I own. I couldn't stop hugging him. I have the most wonderful husband ever!
We got a rental car Tuesday morning so we wouldn't have to be stuck with a cab and the shuttle. Got a great deal too! We got a free day since they didn't charge us for Tuesday. We decided we wanted to see Hoover Dam so away we went. It is HUGE!!! I would hate to fall over the edge, it was a long way down. It's amazing how it just seemed to grow out of the canyon walls. It was definitely cool to see.
We went to a very romantic dinner later that night at the Top of the World restaurant in the Stratosphere. It overlooked the whole strip and revolved too! We got a panoramic view of Vegas at night while we ate. This is the view we got to enjoy while eating our delicious dinner and incredible desert shaped like the casino made totally of chocolate. We walked around the observation deck and got caricatures drawn of us! Totally fun!! The elevator ride to the top goes 26mph and on the way up the operator was from Hawaii and was from Hilo so I had fun talking to him. He said it used to go 35mph but too many people got sick on the way down so they had to slow it down...no fun!
We went to the M&Ms factory, went on the tram around Vegas, visited all the hotels and did alot of walking, saw the Fountains of the Bellagio, watched Treasure Island's show, took a gondola ride at the Venetian, ate amazing food at Cheesecake Factory and Planet Hollywood, the way yummy buffet at South Pointe, the classic In-and-Out Burger. They only have 3 meals you can choose from. It's awesomely old school! We'll miss the valet parking for sure! It made us feel like a million bucks. There would be more pictures but I forgot the battery charger for my camera so we had to limit photos :(

New horse #2
Looks like an addition may be coming soon! Thanks to a girl I work with, Sara, my in-laws land will be put to use. Her dad has some horses that he's willing to give away to a good home. He just doesn't have time to work with them on top of his other horses. To those of you who knew my horse Handy, doesn't he look pretty dang close??? What do you think Tess? Handy II. I would take the chestnut mare but gotta start out with 1 for now. I'm still working out the details for buying Duke. Money is tight thanks to this crappy economy...Enoch and I have lost alot of money in the stock market. But a horse for free is the best thing ever! Well a few million bucks would be good too.

1 Year Anniversary
Today is our 1 year anniversary. I woke up this morning to find these. 1 rose for every month and in my favorite color, PINK!! And lots of chocolate. I love him!!!!!! As you can see, I tore that box apart...And I also just noticed that since I started this post the night before, it says Sept 27..that's not right.. Our anniversary is the 28th..

We can't believe how fast it went by. It seems like just a few months ago we got married. Not too much has happened in the last year. Except we added a few to our collection of guns, I've replaced my entire wardrobe and Enoch's too, Enoch fixed up his little dirt bike, took a much needed trip back home to Hawaii, have been to Salt Lake a few times, had a fun weekend getaway, gone on a few random motorcycle trips, gone to some weddings. So it's not too eventful but it's been lots of fun. Every time I got in the freezer to get something out, I'd see the top of our cake in there and would glance at the calendar and suddenly, it's September 28th. Wonder how it's going to taste...I went through almost an entire roll of plastic wrap because I didn't want it to be all funky tasting and freezer burned. We'll see how it comes out tomorrow since it's thawing in the fridge. So happy 1 year to us!!!! We have made some amazing memories and goofed off like little kids but have loved every minute of it. Here is an ode to our first year as husband and wife.

Where it all began...
I was looking through pictures and came across pictures of the beginning days. So many memories and feelings popped up. We had such good times. It's wonderful how much our love has progressed and grown. It started out as puppy love and grew into eternal love.
This was in the very very beginning. If I remember right, it was late August. Look at my hair (eeek) and that skinny boy. He was sort of newly off his mission and now that I think about the first girl a guy dates when he gets home from his mission is the girl he usually ends up marrying. And that truck, as sexy as it might be, smelled like absolute crap.
Fun times bowling. Enoch didn't have an excuse for having off days. He is a Bowler. hahaha...lame joke, overused. I, on the other hand, just plain suck....
We were at his mission buddies wedding and it made me want to get married the next weekend. I think he looks like a mischievous little boy in this picture.
This is Enoch's favorite picture besides our wedding pictures. We went on a motorcycle trip to Mesa Falls and it became one of our favorite "US" spots.

When we both think back on when we first started dating in September 04, we would've never guessed we'd be here now. I remember the first time Enoch said he loved me. Well, he wrote that he loved me because he was too embarassed to say it out loud. I woke up on my birthday Oct 14 and didn't even notice the shiny new acoustic guitar sitting in the corner. But I did notice all the signs my awesome roommates had plastered all over the place. Enoch was out in the living room ( stupid chastity line) waiting for me and when I didn't say anything, he looked hurt at first and then confused. When everyone said go back in there and look, I was the one who was confused. But there was my pretty new guitar with a bottle of Lucky perfume and a little handwritten note. I opened up the note and it read "Dear Manda, Happy Birthday girl. I'm not good at saying this in person but I really do love you. So, yeah, I love you. I'm so "Lucky" to have you. " It was so cute. And I've saved every cute little I Love You note since then. So many memories you wish you had a video camera for.
We can't wait to keep our journey going and making more memories and having a blast with each other.
New toy
Enoch's first outting with his summer project. No broken bones, no broken handlebars...all is going well. He went with his friend Scott to Bald Butte to goof around and do some hill climbing. I, of course, had to work. But one of these days I'll go out there. Last time I was riding around on anything with 2 wheels or 4 wheels and knobbies I kinda ended up with it on top of me and I was on my back...didn't go so well I'd say...I guess our kids are in major trouble. Enoch and I just try everything when we try something new. Snowboarding (Enoch dislocated his shoulder with a 360 trick) 4wheelers ( aforementioned accident) Since kids are just like their parents, we will be spending every weekend in the ER....But for now, I'll take care of this big kid -----
--------------->
Our parking lot will have to suffice for fun since this thing ain't street legal...oh well. Coppers stay away. Don't rain on our parade.

College bound
Well it finally happened...my little sis started BYU. Last weekend I met up with my family in Salt Lake to see my little sister off and help her get settled in. I can't believe she's a college girl. She's already called me a few times with "oh my gosh what do I do?" My only rule is I have to screen her dates...no losers for her. And my parents are officially empty nesters...they really don't like all that much. I wanted Enoch to come really bad but he had to work :( I wanted him to be able to talk to my extended family more. He did a little at our wedding much not too much. There were too many people there to talk to.
That's my cousin Laura, Steph, me, then my mom and my sis, looking all goofy. She doesn't like have her picture taken all that much.

Friday night my dad's brothers and their families met up with us at Maddox for a family tradition. Every time someone is in town in SLC, we get together and eat there. So so good. The raspberry butter is the best. I've tried to copy it but it didn't taste the same. It was also pretty significant because the last time our family had gathered like that was for our wedding and before that, it was probably 8 years. My dad's mom was always the one to organize family reunions and getogethers and last Friday was the 12th anniversary of her passing away so we all had a little moment for her. She was probably very happy that we all got together.
My sister had to get an apt with girls that were juniors and seniors so she's going to be the odd one out for a bit but I had so much fun in college so I know she'll be just fine. She's going to try to get a job at Gold's Gym since she's addicted to working out. But I think she'll get a job just fine. She's going into communications, for now. My guess is she'll be a personal trainer. She loves the gym.

Saturday fun
It was another fun Saturday. We got another toy...a MAK-90, same thing as an AK-47. It had a wooden stock with a thumbhole grip but it was ugly haha. So we got the army camo stock with the pistol grip instead. I guess 5 guns isn't enough. He wants 5 more. haha wow I'm definately an Idahoan. Enoch had a big jumpstart on me. It just felt good to be out in the sun, hence our sleeveless-ness. And I got stung by something...plant, bug, not sure but it hurt. I wanted to shoot my ankle. It's still all red and swollen. Maybe I'll still shoot it anyway. Well we found out my good friend Stephanie is pregnant. CONGRATS STEPH & JON!!!!!! Now Enoch and I are really behind. My friend Kassie had her baby boy Kaden. CONGRATS TO KASSIE AND SHAD TOO!!!! Enoch and I are really baby hungry now. So far...no luck. We haven't even been married a year yet so we've got time.

Congratulations Joseph and Andrea!
On Saturday, Enoch's little brother Joseph got married. It was so amazing to see them glowing knowing they'd be together for all eternity. Andrea looks so pretty and just beamed. It was such a happy day for the whole family. Everything went smoothly and I'm so suprised Andrea didn't freak out when the intern at the florist put the wedding date in as AUGUST 26 instead of July...I don't know how you mess that up....So everyone went to the neighbors house and asked to pick their orange lillies. The colors were orange and white and it looked so nice and summery. Mom-in-law Merri Ann made the wedding cake and did such a good job. She made Stephanie's too and made a little one for Enoch and I. We think she should get a business going. Well, that's 3 kids down within 10 months. Daddy Bowler is pretty happy.
They are going on their honeymoon to Mexico, I think down in the Baja region. Joseph went on his mission to Honduras so he won't have a problem with language. We let them borrow our car to go drive to Salt Lake monday for the open house and then off they go. We wished we could go tomorrow but we don't have any vacation time left.
While we waited for Joseph and Andrea to come out, we got to play with our little cousins. This is little Joshua. He was totally in love with Enoch. It made us so baby hungry.
He kept spitting his binky so his mom had to hold it in his mouth. But he was so so cute. I want a baby so so bad! I think Enoch and I would look good with a baby of our own in our arms.

My new horse, maybe
So this is Duke, the horse I really want to buy. It's pretty much a done deal until I talk to Enoch about it haha. But he and I are buddies now. Dan and his daughter were really suprised when I rode him. Dan was pretty much beside himself when he saw how good Duke handled with me. Duke hasn't been riden in a very long time and when that happens, horses tend to go green and get onry. He was an angel with me. He tried little things now and then to see if I was paying attention and when he knew he couldn't get away. It was so much fun and so good to get out and ride again. Hopefully I can make this an almost everyday thing. I miss my old horse so much. Duke is so much like him. So if Enoch and I can work out money, I can buy him.

Saturday fun
When us Idahoans are bored, we shoot things and watch people destroy things. I've turned into a hick! Not really, but there isn't much to do around here. But shooting cantelope and watching a demolition derby can still be fun. I went to the derby with my mother-in -law and Enoch's little brother. His dad organized the whole thing and everything went without a hitch. It was so funny how into it some people got. Good times.
Enoch and I went shooting today too. We love spending time together no matter what we're doing. The first time I shot the pistol I hit the cantelope. Enoch was so proud of me. It made me feel really good. Isn't my baby hot?! mmmmmmm he looks SO good. It was a perfect day outside. Sun, no wind, no clouds. Just my husband and me relaxing and having fun with each other.

Happy 4th
This 4th of July wasn't all that crazy but we still got to see fireworks. There's not much to our holiday other than riding the Harley down and being able to zip through traffic and honking cars on the way home. Hey, because we can...It took everyone else probably 2 or more hours to get home. It took us all of 35 mintues, the normal time it takes to get from the Temple back to our house. The fireworks were pretty, like always. We got some pizza and sat and waited, not for too long thought. We got there fairly late and didn't have to wait long. We got a good parking spot too, thanks to the motorcycle again. We looove having it.
These are some of the fun fireworks.

Jacob's birthday and softball fun
Wednesday was little Jacob's birthday. He was so excited to be 12. I remember when he was baptized. Time sure does fly. He was so proud of his presents. Enoch and I gave him some H0llister H2 and his mom got him a hollister shirt so he thought he was stylin'. He looks up to Enoch so much. We stuffed ourselves on yummy homemade pizza and lemon pound cake. I could feel myself getting fatter. I had to represent our side of the Bowler clan because Enoch had to work that night. So I definately ate for 2.
Thursday nights are our stake softball night. Even though there are supposed to be 9 wards or something like that, we barely have enough every week to make a softball team. Enoch sure does know how to crank that ball! Lacey even got in on the action. Enoch tried to make me come out to cover right field but I just used the excuse I had my sandals on..I really didn't want to make a fool out of myself.

Something new
So we decided to get a grill. It always smells so good when our neighbors grill up some steaks. So we got a cheapie. This is my first attempt at grilling. By the looks of it I say it went well. It was windy outside (big suprise) so I had to scooch the steaks over to the other side of the grill. I think I did that right...Enoch just thought it was cute, but he didn't eat any of it. He wanted a hamburger instead. Looks like when I cook, I never have to share. He doesn't like the way I cook--too healthy, not enough fat.

Nothing new really...
Well, we haven't posted in a while. We've been pretty busy with work. Well, our friends Julissa and Oscar had their baby boy. Our other friend Lena and her hubby are pregnant and our friends Krisitan and Dwight are pregnant, Kassie and Shad, Darci and Tagg...we're just left out. We've been talking alot about it. It's a tough decision. Baby is a big step. I know Enoch would make a great dad and he says I'll make a good mom (even though I'm freaking out about it and I'm not even pregnant yet!) Congrats to all you guys who've just had a baby or who will soon have one!

We'll make one cute kid!!
On other notes, we went boating Saturday with some friends at Ririe. We had soooo much fun! Too bad Enoch just about broke his poor back trying to wakeboard, now his right leg is numb. We didn't get any pictures because I left my camera and my phone in our car. I just about ran Enoch over to get to the boat. We're hoping to go again for the 4th. Anyone have a boat they want to sell? And a truck and trailer and cover and wave runners and wakeboards....Yeah we can't afford one. Not even close. Well that's what's up with us. We're the least exciting kids out there.

Our Trip
We had the absolute best time in Hawaii. It was such good bonding time for us. We never wanted to leave. Every day was spent in the sun relaxing, playing outside, being spontaneous, having no where to go at any particular time, running through the rain, eating good food, playing in the water and checking out the cool fish. Hiking the lava flows was a unique experience. It makes you think about how quickly paradise can be covered with blackness. In a matter of hours, there's nothing left of what once stood there. There were plants and ferns starting to pop up between cracks in the new flows and it's amazing how quickly the plants reclaim their home from Pele. People had already moved back to the spot their homes once stood, just building new homes on the new flows. Now that's resilience.
I got nice and tan and Enoch got, well, burnt. He wouldn't wear any sunscreen even though I bugged the crap out of him about it :( oh well. It was so much fun still even though I couldn't give him hugs alot of the time. The sad part is I never wore sunscreen and I didn't get burnt at all really. Just light red on my shoulders that never even hurt and Enoch got roasty toasty. The sun felt so so good. We just wanted to stay outside all day and soak it up.
We ate so much amazing food. Grass fed steak and fresh fish, Waimea strawberries, yummy local desserts and ice cream, kalua pork, loco moco. If you've never had or heard of loco moco, it's a Hawaiian favorite. It's rice ( 2 scoops ususally) topped with a big hamburger patty and eggs any style. When I suggested it to Enoch at lunch time, he looked at me like I was nuts. And then he tried it, and really liked it. Hawaiian dishes are some of the best food we've ever had. We had such a yummy but really cheap breakfast the morning of the day we left. Three pieces of sweet bread french toast soaked in vanilla egg batter and sprinkled with powdered sugar and coconut syrup...doesn't that sound AMAZING. for $6!!!! You don't need to go to expensive fancy places to get the best food. The best food is at the local places. If you ever want to know where to go, just ask me!
We're already planning our next trip back to Oahu. We want to go to Pearl Harbor and The Polynesian Cultural Center and definately get some surf lessons for Enoch at North Shore. The PCC is such a great experience. It takes you though a trip through the islands and cultures of Polynesia. You take a boat around the the center and there are "islands" you stop and explore the cultures of each different people. And Pearl Harbor is just such a humbling place to visit.
Seeing my family was really the height of our trip. I missed my parents and sister alot and it was so good to see them. We had fun nights with them. They all had to work most of the time but when they weren't working we hung out with them alot. It was great!!

Well, it's been one year since I had my appendix taken out. Enoch and I laugh about that now, but it really really sucked then....good thing I listened to the voice inside my head that said this is more than just ickies and a pulled muscle. I wasn't even going to worry about it. Went to the ER, and suprise...APPENDICITIS! What are the odds that a month before we were planning on getting married, I'd end up in the hospital? Needless to say, we pushed the wedding back a while. Enoch was so good to me. After work, he came and made sure I had everything I needed and slept on my couch for a week because I was living alone at my apartment.
Diary of a hospital stay
1pm--enoch picked me up and took me to the ER
3pm-- tests tests tests
4:30pm--surgery started
6pm--surgery done. Sleep, be in pain, sleep, more drugs, sleep....
12pm following day--finally allowed to leave. Now I just can't use my abs says doc...yeah that went over REALLY well.
For the next week, I just rolled around like a fish when I had to get up. Quite hilarious.

Pics of my mom, sis and me
I was looking through pictures on cds I found and here's some. Mom and sis I can't wait to see you guys! This was taken a couple years ago. We haven't changed much at all except my sister gained some weight back.
That was the same car my mom had in high school . We went to a car show here and she was so so excited. She was stylin for sure back then.
10 more days!
9 1/2 more days and we're outta here!!! We're really excited to get out of this icky weather...gotta love winter straight to summer...kinda. The weather right now is icky...where did the sun go? A little more than a week from now we'll be in the sun!! We'll be sure to take lots of pictures. We're trying to figure out what we want to do that doesn't cost too much money. These tickets set us back a bit for sure. He came to visit back in Feb of 05 and we had the best time together. When he was visiting before, I had to work everyday still so it kinda sucked. He helped my mom kill centipedes though. Funny story. He was outside helping her with her gardening while I was at work and he saw this big, wiggly, nasty looking bug and started going after it with a broom. For those who don't know Hawaiian centipedes, they DO NOT die, I swear, they are immortal. Well he just when whacking away at this little bugger and he snapped the broom handle and had to finish it off with all 200lbs on one foot. They make a nasty pop and then you know they are dead. Just one of the house mates you have to deal with there. Oh well. Enoch and I will be the centipede assasins.

We're going to Hawaii!
We're going to Hawai'i!!!! We're headed off the spend time with my family. It's not quite the perfect vacation since my mom has had some health scares and Enoch and I want to spend time with my parents as much as we can since going to Hawaii can't really happen every other month. Counting down to June 3!!

Bye Bye Car!
Finally sold my car! Bye bye Passat. We've been trying to sell it since December and now we're getting bills paid off and hopefully this time next year we'll have a house. Now we're a one car family and it's going to take some getting used to. Next up is Enoch's Harley. :( Definately don't want to see that go but if his friend buys it, we'll be saving $800 a month with the bills that money pays off. Now we can go to Hawaii in June to visit my parents. We can't wait for that. With how the weather is going here right now, it will be a week in paradise. I haven't seen my parents since our second reception so I can't wait to see them and see my little sister who isn't so little anymore. I can't believe she's going to be 18 this year. Life doesn't wait for anything.

Spring Rides

Another nice day yesterday so we took advantage of it. Started up the bike, got our coats on because it was a tad windy, and off we went. The sun felt so good. Too bad it didn't last through the weekend. That's Idaho for ya. We're trying to ride as much as we can since our friend might be buying it. We don't want to sell it, but we really want a house. House, bike....house, bike...We'll get another motorcylce one day.
