Halfway there!

Well I've officially passed the halfway mark and I am more than halfway done with the pregnancy! We can't wait for Baby Bowler to arrive! We find out on Thursday if its a boy or girl and maybe if the little squirmer is calm enough, we'll get a 3D ultrasound. Those are so amazing. You can see what your baby looks like before he/she is born. We are so so so excited!! Looking at the poll, 3/4s of you are thinking it's going to be a girl. Everyone is having girls haha. I hope it's a girl cause I don't want to have to decide a boy name. Enoch knows he wants to have a boy, naturally. But I really can't decide which I would rather have. I just want a healthy baby. I've got one hyper kid growing in my belly. All day long he/she is just going crazy. I've discovered juice quiets him/her and hot chocolate makes him/her go crazy. Diet coke is a toss up....quite strange since I drink the fat free lower sugar hot chocolate and coke has caffine and juice has more sugar...Suprises around every corner for sure.

5 months

So yes I'm at work. I kept getting texts and comments about my baby belly and I knew if I didn't do it when it was fresh in my mind I would just keep forgetting. So here is the 5 month baby belly. Look really close and you can tell haha. The baby is really moving around alot today. Of course my half hourly bathroom trips probably keep him/her perky. But it's the coolest thing to feel the baby moving around. Grow Baby Bowler grow!!! But not too big....we don't want a 9 lb baby on our hands in 4 months.... The long shirt makes me look skinnier than I really am haha

Spring is here!!

We couldn't believe the weather today! It was almost 70 and barely a breeze! This is the first picture I've taken in a while. I know...I've been slacking on the baby belly progress report. It's barely there trust me haha. But Enoch and I enjoyed a ride today because we don't know how many more I'll be able to take. We asked the doctor about riding motorcycles and he said just be safe. The shaking won't hurt the baby, but accidents will. So we are keeping things nice and slow.

Enoch found himself a new riding outfit. What a cutie! He never likes to smile cause he thinks his smile is goofy....Let's see some pearly whites!!!

So can you tell those are maternity jeans? I know I look a little goofy but beanies are the way to go when you ride. No knots to comb out after and no hair whipping you in the face while riding. Enoch can't figure out why I'm wearing bigger shirts already. I tried so hard before I was pregnant to keep myself in shape and keeping trim and it's taking some getting used to to have a little belly. It's in that awkward stage where it's " am I pregnant or just fluffy?" Well I think I'm the only one that thinks that way I guess. Enoch always rolls his eyes when I make that comment about myself.
Well tomorrow I'm 19 weeks. I can't believe I'm almost halfway through the pregnacy. April 2nd is the ultrasound!!! And we double checked that the appointment was made right this time. We thought of another boy name, if it's a boy. Conrad... thoughts?? Why is it that boy names are so much harder? We picked out girl name like that. But boy, oh boy, those boys.

mumble grumble

Well....the appointment wasn't scheduled right last visit.....and the doctor was behind in patients by an hour and a half....we got there at 3 and didn't get to see him until 4:30.....So he said there wasn't enough time to do one since there were 3 other girls that were needing them before they closed. Soooooo we have to wait until April 2nd at least. I told them to call me as soon as there was either a no show or someone canceled, which isn't very likely. So we're still waiting to find out...........

So we have a doctors appt today....and we might be able to find out if it's a boy or girl!!! They didn't really schedule us last month for this to be the ultrasound visit but by golly I'm going to ask anyway! Enoch and I are going nuts to find out. So hopefully we find out in 2 hours!!!!!

Uh oh...

Well....looks like the prego lady's back problems are already starting. I had a chiropractors appointment and just by telling him my pain issues and back problems I've had over the past year, diagnosis is: bulging disc.... :( So we're trying to figure out how to fix that problem before the belly gets to big and causes even bigger issues. And chiropractors ain't cheap. Something else I've noticed is most chiropractic patients are women. Just goes to show our men need to pamper us and rub our feet and our back when we ask them. Men take note!! We need to be pampered always!

2ns Trimester!

I'm officially in my second trimester and we're really excited! The time of all the bad things that could happen as pretty much passed so we made it past the worst part! Except for the whole sick part...dunno why I'm feeling really nauseous again but oh well. I'm trying to decide if I should just buy a new pair of maternity jeans now or just get a different size of regular jeans...decisions decisions haha. 5 1/2 more months to go now. And 5 more weeks until we find out if it's a boy or girl!

On track

Well we had another Dr visit last week. This last visit went better than I thought it would, except for the blood test part. I HATE those. Reason being is a day later my arm is a giant bruise and I look like I'm a druggie! We have good news and bad news to report. Good news is the heartbeat is alot stronger. One of the nurses for Dr. Lovell did an abdominal ultrasound for the heart beat and warned us that it might take a littel bit to find. Well 2 seconds later we could hear it. It was pretty strong. 145 bpm so I guess that's normal. Bad news, I'm getting pretty sick again. Crackers and cereal are my friends. You can never get used to being sick. Weight gain seems to be on track. I've gained 3 lbs since I got pregnant. We all hate gaining weight but I just want a healthy baby. One more week and I'm officially in my second trimester. It's still crazy to think in less then 6 months I'm going to have a little me or Enoch. We decided now is the time to start stocking up on new born diapers. You can never have enough diapers!

Update, although not much of one

Well, as far as baby news goes, my clothes still fit somewhat the same, still sick in the mornings, afternoon and evenings sometimes and hate alot of the foods I once loved. I guess it's just a rite of passage for all us mom's to be. I have to eat something every couple hours otherwise I get really nauseated. So here comes the baby weight everyone talks about :( We are at the half way point to finding out if it's a boy or girl. We both kinda think it's a girl but who know's. Well that's our update. We're trying to find a house to buy before baby comes too. Yay for tax refunds with babies and houses!

First Pix of Baby

We had our first ultra sound on Wednesday and things look ok so far. That's our little guy/girl waving at us and the dark spot is the brain. The fetus is a bit small, about a week or so behind where it should be. We are crossing our fingers everything will go okay. I have to be careful about what I do and exercising and not letting myself get stressed. Both of my mom's pregnancies were high risk and she had to be really careful. It's strange the fetus is smaller than it should be because I've been able to keep food down. I've had my really bad days where I'm puking all day long but I've been really blessed to not be too sick. We're just praying we don't have a miscarriage. We go in in 4 weeks to have another checkup and get some blood drawn for tests. Grow little baby grow!
